How to Use?
How to Use?
CaregiverCaller™ is designed to be simple for seniors to use. Once the device is activated and caregiver contacts are programmed, the wearer can use the pendant without operating a smartphone.
1. Wear the Pendant
Place the CaregiverCaller™ around the neck using the included lanyard. Wear it consistently at home and when going outside so it is available when needed.
2. Press the SOS Button for Help
If the wearer needs assistance, press the SOS button on the pendant.
CaregiverCaller™ starts the programmed alert sequence and contacts the designated family members or caregivers.
3. Talk Hands-Free
When a caregiver or family member answers, the wearer can speak directly through the pendant's built-in microphone and speaker.
There is no need to find or operate a cellphone.
4. If a Contact Doesn't Answer
CaregiverCaller™ can be programmed with up to five contact numbers.
If the first person does not answer, the system can continue through the programmed contacts according to the configured calling sequence.
5. Automatic Fall Alert
If CaregiverCaller™ detects a possible fall, it can automatically initiate the configured alert process.
The device provides a voice notification and allows the wearer an opportunity to cancel the alert when appropriate.
Important: Fall detection is an additional safety feature and cannot detect every fall.
6. Request the Wearer's GPS Location
An authorized caregiver can request the CaregiverCaller™ location by text. The system can respond with a location link that can be opened in Google Maps.
This can be particularly useful when a caregiver cannot reach their loved one or wants to check where the device is located.
7. Family Can Call the Pendant
CaregiverCaller™ also works for routine check-ins.
Family members or caregivers can call the device's assigned phone number, allowing the wearer to communicate through the pendant without using a smartphone.
