Regular sales and administrative business hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. PST. We are closed on all US legal holidays. For fastest response (and to avoid phone tag), you may reach customer service by email. All e-mails received after regular business hours will be responded to in as soon as possible. You may also call customer service at 1-800-209-3814. Outside of these hours, you are encouraged to leave a message.
Legality of Products
It is the responsibility of the Purchaser, not SafeGuardian™ or any employee of said company, to determine and comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations in regard to the purchase, possession and use of all products offered by SafeGuardian™. Purchaser assumes all liability or damage resulting from the use, misuse or unlawful use of any products offered. By placing an order, the Purchaser agrees that all products will be used in a legal and lawful manner in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws.
Prepayment, in United States currency, is required before product(s) may be shipped. Payment includes shipping and handling charges and, where applicable, sales taxes. Acceptable forms of payment include Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover as well as money orders, cashiers checks, and money/wire transfers. Public safety, law enforcement, educational and governmental entities within the United States may also pay via departmental accounts. With prior approval, SafeGuardian™ may accept checks drawn on business accounts. In all instances involving payment by check, SafeGuardian™ reserves the right to postpone shipping for 10 business days or until the check clears the bank.
Most domestic shipments shall be sent via FedEx, UPS or US Postal service with delivery confirmation. For the protection of our customers, SafeGuardian™ performs an address verification on all orders. We regret that we can only ship to the United States and Canada.
Tax Exempt Purchases
We are required to charge sales taxes unless a copy of a tax exemption certificate is on file with SafeGuardian™ prior to receipt of order.
SafeGuardian™ reserves the right to refuse the sale of any equipment to any individual, business, or organization, when it is feared or believed that the equipment may be used for immoral and criminal purposes. Additionally, SafeGuardian™ aggressively acts to prevent credit card fraud. We utilize all of the latest technology to screen and verify the authenticity of each and every order. We reserve the right to refuse any sale if we are unable to verify card holder, obtain credit card approval or verify delivery address.
We make every effort to ship your order as soon as possible. Once an order has been placed online, phone, mail or FAX, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to cancel the order before it is shipped.
Upon receipt of your order, we will confirm with you, by email at the address you provided, that we have received your order. Please allow 7-10 business days following shipment for all "ground" shipments to be delivered. If your order does not arrive as scheduled, please notify us by email. We will investigate using the tracking information provided by your carrier and will update you with the delivery status.
Satisfaction Guarantee, Product Returns & Refund Policy
SafeGuardian™ makes every effort to insure your complete satisfaction. Unless otherwise noted on each item, you may return any product purchase within fourteen (14) days of delivery. If, within the first fourteen (14) days following delivery you have set-up, tested and connected your SafeGuardian™ device to our monitoring center, and decide you are not happy with it for any reason, you can return it for a full refund. Simply return it us postage-paid & postmarked within fourteen (14) days of delivery following the instructions below. All sales after fourteen (14) days are considered final and returns will not be accepted (and no refunds will be issued) after fourteen (14) days of postmarked receipt. Systems returned within 14 days of receipt that have not been set-up and tested as required above are subject to a 50% restocking fee.
Order Return Procedures:
1) E-mail us within fourteen (14) days of receipt to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Packages received without an RMA number clearly stated on the front of the box will not be accepted.
2) All packages shipped back to SafeGuardian™ MUST be in new, unused and resalable condition, in the undamaged manufacturer's original carton and contain all original packaging materials, parts and accessories.
3) Include a letter stating your name, order number and reason for your return or exchange.
4) Return the package prepaid (Sorry, we cannot accept COD's)
5) For maximum protection, insure your shipment for full retail value.
6) If returned merchandise is found to be damaged, tampered with, or otherwise not in a resalable condition, package shall be refused and returned to purchaser at additional expense.
7) Refunds may take up to 21 days to process following receipt of your return.
Items That Can Not Be Returned For A Refund (Exchange For Same Item Only)
*PLEASE NOTE: Purchases of the following items are considered final and can not be returned for a cash refund (defect exchanges or in-store credit only):
1) GPS personal locators, GPS vehicle trackers & GPS logging systems for any reason.
2) Products damaged by misuse, accident, unauthorized repair, or other causes not within our control.
3) GPS and cellular products experiencing reception problems caused by signal conditions or cable or antenna systems outside the unit.
4) Pre-paid monitoring service subscription plans (store credit only).
5) Medical alarm buttons, pendants or wristbands due to health regulations.
6) Any/all items that are labeled as "Special Order" items.
Exchange Of Defective Items
Defective items may be exchanged within ninety (90) days of delivery of the original shipment, and at SafeGuardian™'s sole discretion, for the exact same item. Exchanged items shall not be returned or re-exchanged for another item. If your item has been damaged during shipping please e-mail us immediately.
Purchases may be warranted by the manufacturer against manufacturing defects. Length of warranty varies depending upon make and model. If a product is warranted by the manufacturer, it will be stated in the item description or in the product owner's manual. Defects caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, accidents, modifications, and unauthorized repairs are not covered by warranty. Within the warranty period, SafeGuardian will, at it's discretion, repair or replace the product(s) without charge.

Weekly Testing Is Required
Weekly testing of any wireless or cellular SafeGuardian™ system or device is required to insure it is functioning correctly. IF SUBSCRIBER IS UNABLE OR CHOOSES NOT TO TEST ALL OF THE DEVICE FUNCTIONS EVERY WEEK, SUBSCRIBER AGREES TO RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS SAFEGUARDIAN™ FROM ANY/ALL LIABILITY SHOULD THE DEVICE FAIL TO OPERATE IN THE EVENT OF AN ACTUAL EMERGENCY.
Monitoring & Service Agreements
Customers ordering professionally-monitored wireless medical alarm, cellular medical alarm or personal SOS help alert system are required to read, acknowledge and accept a Monitoring Services Agreement and authorize re-occurring billing prior to commencing service. These agreements are by and between you and the system service provider. Customers understand and accept that SafeGuardian™ is a retailer of third-party products and services only. SafeGuardian™ does not manufacture any of the products available from the online retail store and SafeGuardian™ does not offer or provide its own monitoring or cellular service plans.
Re-Occurring Billing Authorization.
Customer hereby authorizes SafeGuardian to initiate ongoing automatic recurring electronic debits from my credit card or bank account for the annual/quarterly/monthly service plan selected at time of purchase. I understand that this authorization will remain in effect until I cancel it, in advance, in writing. I agree to notify my service provider in writing of termination of this authorization at least seven (7) days prior to the next scheduled billing date. I understand and accept that the pre-paid monitoring service plan I have chosen is non-refundable for the next service period once charged. I certify that I am an authorized user of this credit card/bank account and will not dispute these scheduled reoccurring transactions with my bank or credit card company; so long as the transactions, processed in accordance to the terms indicated in the Monitoring Service Agreement, occurred prior to delivery of my written cancellation notice.

If you are in an area with insufficient cellular service, the call cannot be placed. Further, even if you contact emergency services, the emergency service provider may not properly respond. You must also remember to keep fresh batteries in your GPS or cellular device. Current Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Regulations require cellular service providers to pass all 911 calls through to all 911 emergency centers that have requested the calls regardless of whether the call originates from a cellular service provider's paid subscriber. Should FCC regulations change, 911 access may be modified or eliminated.
