Features Series: How Voice Prompts Keep Wearers Informed - SafeGuardian Medical Alarms & Help Alert Systems

Imagine this: you've had a fall or you're not feeling well.

Luckily, you have your medical alert device just around your neck. You need help fast, so you press your button. But then nothing happens.

Did it work? Was your alert sent successfully? Do you need to press it again? Are you worried about pressing the button too many times?

Emergency situations can be scary, and the unknown of what happens after your button press only adds to the worry. When you use your medical alert device, you need to know that it worked. And you need to know that help is on the way.

SafeGuardian kept events like this in mind when developing the feature set for the CareCaller™ LTE.

What resulted was our innovative set of programmable voice prompts.

Now CareCaller™ LTE users will know every time they've successfully activated their device. From the press of the SOS button to the calling of contacts, the CareCaller™ LTE keeps users informed and comforted every step of the way.

When users press their SOS button, the CareCaller™ LTE will promptly announce that the device has been activated and to press SOS if they want to cancel the alert. After that, the device will inform users that it has begun calling contact number one.

With these voice prompts, there's no more guesswork involved. If the user hears the voice prompt, help is on the way. Users will no longer be in the dark after they've activated their device. They'll know every time the CareCaller™ LTE has been successfully activated.

To take it a step further, the CareCaller™ LTE will also announce to users when a fall has been detected, when the device battery is low, when the device is charging, and much more.

Even the most technology-adverse user can take solace knowing the CareCaller™ LTE will keep them informed every step of the way.
